Boo has been practicing yoga for 10 years and teaching for just over 4. She is trained in Hatha, Dynamic, Restorative, Elemental Flow and Yin yoga, as well as Pilates. She is currently studying advanced anatomy and advanced Pilates, in addition to Nutrition from the Royal Society of Public Health, & Elite Personal Training. Her teaching is safe, considerate, caring and deeply intuitive. In her spare time Boo enjoys doing yoga herself, seeing friends, indulging her coffee addiction and eating ridiculously expensive food. Boo is the founder of the social impact company “Women Who Self Care” which helps women in disadvantaged areas and situations to gain access to SRHR products and well-being information.
After completing a degree in Psychology, Mimo found her way to Yoga and found a deeper way to connect to the mind. As her practice deepened, so did her perspective. She qualified as a Pilates Instructor with Body Control Pilates in 2012 and as as Yoga teacher with YogaLondon in 2014.
Mimo is an Experienced yoga teacher (500+hrs YAP). She is trained in a variety of styles including Vinyasa flow, Power yoga, Yin, Restorative, Adaptive, and Trauma-informed yoga. She is also trained in Yoga Nidra meditation and as a Children’s Yoga teacher. In addition, Mimo is a Master Reiki practitioner, and has attended numerous workshops and CPD trainings. These include hyper-mobility, breath-work, and of particular interest to her; Yoga for mental health.
Mimo believes movement is therapy and teaching it to others is her passion. Creativity in sequencing is her speciality, making her class welcoming to 'every body' by providing a grounding space for her students to heal, transform, learn, self-reflect, and choose which aspects compliment their needs to their yoga practice. She is a firm believer that what happens on the mat, transpires off the mat!
